Border Collie Birthday

My friend Helle and I celebrated 3 x Border Collie Birthday today. Beat was 5 on the 12th July (when I travelled to France) and Hero and Jazz will be 3 on the 24th. We had a big party today celebrating all 3 of them.

Helle arrived in the morning and we went to the lake and swam with the dogs. The water was a bit cold, but it was good fun.

Back on dry land, we continuted to the Academy Garden for a Birthday Picnic. The dogs had Birthday Cake made from cake, liver pate, cat food and yoghurt. Helle and I had sandwiches :-)

Hero, Beat and Jazz had lots of Birthday Presents. And all of the dogs had lots of treats. No one seems to be hungry tonight even though they haven't had their dinners yet.

We took the dogs for another swim in the lake and then walked to the center of town for ice cream. We met some lovely people today. An elderly couple enjoyed watching the dogs have fun in the lake and another lady stopped us in town and gave the dogs more treats.

All dogs are sleeping now. They had the best day :-)

Biscuit's leg looked better yesterday than today, but I guess 2 busy days might have been tough for him. Hopefully he will be better tomorrow.
