Hanging Out

I have moved from Köln to Düsseldorf. I am not sure why. It might be that the flight from here to Edinburgh is at a more civilised time than the one from Köln.

My wee legs did not feel like walking much today, so I jumped on another train for the 20 minute jaunt to Wuppertal. The plan was to see a bit of that city from the comfort of its Schwebebahn - a suspended monorail.

And what a delight it was. €8.30 for a day ticket so I could get off and on wherever I wanted. Most of the line is above the river and that was fascinating. A small part is above the street in Vohwinkel. Fascinating in a different way. 

My Blip needs no further explanation. The Extra is the station at Landgericht. 

No-one will believe I went to Wuppertal for an afternoon out, but the camera does not lie.
