A lovely surprise!

A super day. R came round to see us the morning and catch up on the news of her trip and future plans. She helped us with some outstanding tasks. 

Another heartwarming event was a visit by the gentleman from Help for Heroes bearing gifts. The items that I made for them have raised a considerable amount for their funds. Lovely to get the feedback and plan what to make for the next donation.

R has headed off for her hen weekend. I was invited to join them in their activities, but would find it too tiring and hinder the proceedings, so said  no thank you. I will be able to meet up with all her friends at the wedding.
