Friday

This is a particularly bold crow that recognises me and approaches me for food. (I scatter feed Hetty)

There's more than one that waits for the scatter feeders (Paddy scatter feeds Ivy) but this one makes it's presence known.

I recognise this one because it has two white patches on its chest.

I've been to see Chama this morning to sort out a celebration for Nigel's 60th. Then I went for a walk with Hetty.

I was supposed to be seeing Tessa this evening but she has tested positive for COVID again. Chama was coughing and spluttering too. She thinks she has COVID so I hope I'm not going to pick it up. Not that I'd bother testing anymore.

I lost one of 3 rubies from a ring that a boyfriend gave me in 1982. I've worn it every single day and absolutely love it. (Though I didn't love him.) Anyway, I've been quoted £364 to have the ruby replaced. It was tiny! So I've said no. I might see if I can get a tiny garnet put in instead. There are several miniscule diamonds in the setting too. I was expecting an estimate of about £100. I doubt the ring is worth £364.

I have jobs to do but I'm feeling lazy today.
