Gorgeous Daffodils …..

….. ….. ….. on a dreary dreich day. Sixty shades of grey here and constant rain. Yes we walked but it’s not much fun.

In the process though, I was given these gorgeous daffodils. Aren’t they a treat! Maybe the rain is the price we pay? I took them home and photographed them sitting on the kitchen bench.

Dunedin has really copped the worst of the weather. A state of emergency has been declared, there’s awful flooding with rivers bursting their banks, trees down and some people being evacuated etc. Horrible state of affairs. I think I heard that all roads into the city are closed - not sure if I heard that right.
