Looking for adders

There was a lovely cool breeze in St Ives today so this afternoon we decided to go for a trek along the coast path to the secret rock pool.

We met one of the local farmers who asked where we were going. When we told him we were going to take the path past the farm down onto the coast path he said, 'Be careful, there's lots of adders about'.

We saw an adder a couple of years ago but haven't seen any since. And despite a good look around we didn't see any today either!!!!
