Roman Baths

The weather was much improved today, we had rebooked the Roman Baths so after breakfast & checking out we walked into town & arrived earlier than our time slot but they were happy to let us in.
We followed the route through the buildings & exhibitions, so much to see but there is no timescale so you can set your own pace. We were 90% through when the lights went out plunging the rooms into darkness - the power had failed again. They had to evacuate the building so we had to leave. We are now being refunded the ticket price for a second time, I’m not sure of the origin of the electrical fault but it’s a very expensive issue for the venue.
We had a coffee at the tea shop on Pulteney Bridge then made our way to the Royal Crescent & walked through the park back to the car & home.
