My banana plant's last leaves of the year

Pip gave me an off-shoot of his banana plant many years ago, which he cut from a cluster of plants in his Bristol garden. I transplanted it into a large pot and have kept it in that ever since, never having the nerve to plant it out in our garden. It now sits outdoors on our patio.

This is probably its final array of leaves for the year. Within a couple of weeks I'll move it a few yards into our garden cabin, which I heat to a very small degree over winter, just to keep the frost at bay. It seems quite happy with this arrangement.
