Wild Goose Chase

Another stunning day, sunshine most of the day, with the odd cloud passing over.  Lovely and calm too, slightly cooler than yesterday.

Arrive at work, a day with James (McNab) on the glass recycling essykert (bin lorry).  We headed for the ferry to Yell.  Various locations to collect from on the island.  A detour to South Nesting on our way back, then around Lerwick in the afternoon.  Walkies with Sammy after work.  Working in the shop this evening, and a busy night.  Last walkies before bed.

We arrived in Yell, headed straight up to catch the ferry to Unst.  Unfortunately we weren't booked, and with Shetland Wool Week on, it was packed.  We didn't make the ferry, and were told the ferries out would be busy too.  Not to get stuck in Unst for the night, we cancelled our plans.  It was a bit of a wild goose chase.  While waiting on the ferry, I nipped out for a few snaps. Thankfully these real geese weren't interested in chasing me.  Taken at the Old Post Office, Gutcher, Yell.
