We have a new light . . .

Suspicious activity in the close at breakfast time this morning. That was about ten o’clock.  A cherry picker, and men in Hi Vis playing with our street lights.  They replaced the old sodium with led.  I was a bit dubious as most of the led lights I’ve seen give a horrible bright white light causing shadows for villains to hide in and, recking your night vision.
 
I had no cause to worry.  When  they came on this evening they give a soft pleasant light, and our CCTV prefers it to the sodium.  Another advantage is there is no sideways light so it does not shine in our front bedroom windows.
 
So I’ll take back all that I was thinking about SKDC.
