New Eddystone Rock, Behm Canal, Alaska

This odd-looking formation is a volcanic plug which was created when a volcano erupted there some 15,000 or so years ago.

We are currently steaming towards Vancouver (still), and are scheduled to arrive and disembark early tomorrow morning.  What a great voyage this has been!  We feel very fortunate to be amongst the few who can say they have successfully navigated the storied Northwest Passage.  We will spend tomorrow night in Vancouver, and then fly home on Saturday.  Another big adventure awaits in January!
