Black eyed Susans

Spent a lot of today doing more decluttering. Still on old school books, in a haphazard muddle from age 4 to 17. Made me think, made me laugh too, a bit. My phone said it was going to be sunny after 4 so I thought I’d go for a walk then. It lied. Cold mizzle was what we got. So - out in the garden just to pick some tomatoes and apples - still masses of apples, tomatoes coming to an end. And took this of the flowers still growing and scrambling over the trellis.
Found a very nice complete reading of Cranford on BBC sounds so started that. Wonderful so far. That was a book we had to read at school when I was about 12 - far too young to appreciate it. So it’s great to revisit after almost 60 years:-)
