A bit of a futile phone call for JP with the organisation who we bulk buy our supplies for foodbank. They claim they make no money supplying us so no discounts are available. Mmmm!
A trip round our branch of same chain of stores to check on their ‘cheaper’ lines, lots of which aren’t available to us on our bulk buy. Yes, we could shop in the actual shop and in the cheaper supermarkets, but we don’t have the time, nor do they have enough stock on the shelves for our needs. No one stocks 600 tins of meat on a shelf! All a bit frustrating to be honest.
