Old pack horse bridge

Back blip - Monday
We spent the day visiting towns around where Dennis's mum grew up. We started at Carrbridge and stopped to admire the old pack horse bridge, then on to Ballindalloch to visit the cemetery where his mums ashes were scattered. After that we stopped at the old bridge of Livet, another pack horse bridge, and apparently where Dennis's great uncle fell into the river one night. We also drove passed the cottage his mum grew up in, then on to Aberlour. We had a picnic lunch in the car, then a walk along the river, explored the local cemetery and eventually found the grave of Dennis's aunt Meg and uncle William.
After that it was a drive on to Grantown on spey and a stop at the old Craigellachie bridge. Final stop on the way back to Aviemore was at castle Roy.
Out for dinner at the Winking Owl in Aviemore
