memories

Today, by chance I went to the park where my family and I had our Christmas picnics. It was such an enjoyable day! We set out early to 'claim' our spot, enjoyed the great food mum and dad cooked, played grass cricket and in the afternoon we would swim at the beach. My dad used to play Mah Jong with his mates under these trees. There was lots of noisy chatter and laughter. I remember those days with such affection.
