Surreal

A surreal day and night. I got to Stuart at 9am and he'd clearly declined significantly. He wanted me to hold his hand, which I did for the next couple of hours. Later after my chaplaincy course I was back here, and now here through the night til 7am. For his sake, i'm hoping he goes quickly.

Today I'm grateful for;
1) His son finding the courage and coming to visit him.
2) This time with Stuart.
3) Danny taking care of other things so I can spend so much time at the hospital.
