I like history

I’ve been to yoga, sent two knitted hats to a seafarers charity, see the extra, taken some things to a charity shop and then started a pair of baby socks.

The building in the image is the Counting House or front office of Winchester Brewery. A date stone in the cellar suggests that brewing began here in the 18th century. Brewing continued until 1925, and the site was a distribution depot until 1997. It was the last of Winchester’s four main breweries to close.
