We solve murders

I really enjoyed this first book in a new series from Richard Osman.  It was full of great characters and several surprising plot twists. The audio narration from Nicole Walker was fabulous too.  

There is a long wait until the next Thursday Murder Club book. That is due in September 2025.  A film is also being made but sometimes I find it better to avoid films of books I love for fear of disappointment.  The cast looks good though, although no way was I imagining Piers Brosnan as Ron when I was reading the books. 

It was a very grey day all day long. It didn’t really seem to get fully light at all.  At least it was all just thick cloud cover and we avoided any rain.

Leo had another driving lesson and did lots of practice at parallel parking. He declared he would probably just drive around to find a decent spot when he passes his test instead of seeking to squeeze in somewhere - and that is my approach too.  Good for the step count too if you park further way in the unpopular far flung parts of car parks etc.
