The extremely asian BBQ

My dad held a BBQ* for his side of the family in our back garden. I invited David, who had an interesting day of piecing together broken English and a lot of questioning about where he was from.

The photo is of our lovely cherry tree which my aunties and grandma spotted, and to my dad's horror, grabbed a load of bags and stripped the tree of its mostly unripe cherries. If only the reflective strips and scarecrows in the garden repelled family as well as birds, eh.

*BBQ = cooking a bit of chicken outside while everyone eats fried rice and noodles which were cooked indoors..
