A morning of admin and a bit of grocery shopping. The weather forecast was for sunny intervals but they were few and short. 

After lunch I went by bus to Brockhole (National Park Visitor Centre). Hoped to find more autumn colours than on yesterday’s walk but was disappointed again. 

Fortunately a bit of sunshine lit up the shore on the west side of Windermere while I sat and watched three people take a rowing boat out. I preferred the later photo with it out of the scene.
