Water off a ducks back.

I was hoping to see the heron but as is always the case when you go looking for a particular bird you never find it.
However there were plenty of mallards. About 15 or more. I like how this photo shows the water droplets on the feathers.

Although mainly dull there was a light breeze, which dried all the washing.

What a surprise. I had a visit from a doctor this morning!
A bit of a mixup. He had come to see MrC who had actually gone to the surgery about an hour ago.
Somehow he had it on his list for a home visit.
Computer error!?
He drove straight to the surgery and apologised profusely to MrC. who had gone for a prostrate checkup.
He certainly didn’t mind the wait as at the end of the consultation he was told the blood tests and examination confirmed he had nothing to worry about. All normal.
A great relief as you can imagine.
So he came home and took me out for lunch!
