Schroedinger's peanuts

A seed of doubt has been planted in my mind. How do I know there are really peanuts inside this bag of peanuts before I open the bag? Maybe before the bag is opened, the peanuts don't really exist, but are hovering between a state of being and not being? The bag may contain nuts, or it may not.
