Tiny Tuesday ...

... Earth.

I had a wander through the back garden this morning and when I came across this tiny mushroom popping out of the earth I knew I had my blip.  I had to have Richard drag the planter in which is was growing out into the sunshine before I could take any pictures. And I have to say ... I'm so impressed with this new macro lens!

Later in the day we were surprised by one of our Eastern Black Swallowtail butterflies emerging in our nursery.  I had thought ... and hoped ... that they would all be overwintered and be released come next Spring.  I've added a photo of him in Extras.

And in order to save on my extras ... I've added a photo of a lovely female Goldfinch to my Facebook feed.
