Virginia creeper, Parthenocissus quinquefolia (now an 'invasive non-native species'). 

Out mid morning to fetch bread from the coffee shop at Canonmills; then on to Tanfield and around by the Rocheid path. Dull and dry. One heavy shower in the early afternoon.

Meter reading later on. (Our 'smart' meters don't actually make a radio connection out to anything .. )
