Memories

The rain finally stopped at 3.46 this afternoon.
We spent the morning clearing out the clutter under our bed, it’s one of those lift up beds. It hides everything from Xmas decorations to wedding photos to fancy dress costumes!!
We now have some stuff to go to the charity shop, some things went straight in the bin and the rest has been tidily replaced.
The picture is of one of my ‘dog books’. My dad started taking me greyhound racing at the age of about 11. We kept meticulous statistical records. This one dates back to 1980. The newspaper cutting is the results from the local newspaper which my grandma would cut out and save for us when we were on holiday.
