We should be in Dubai but..

We are on the homeward journey ( or should be ). We were flying into the Iraqi/Iran airspace when the pilot was given instructions to turn back - first to Istanbul and then to Vienna to refuel.

I am in Vienna now waiting to take off to Dubai avoiding the Middle East but how?
We will miss our connection ! But at least we are safe
