Rose "Fragrant blush"
A little bit of normality in a hectic week! The morning was at the Lodge doing an assembly job and a bit of rearranging in the twin bedroom.
The afternoon was our usual weekly coffee and cake at a garden centre with Kanyl. The advantage of a garden centre is you can generally guarantee a good range of potential blips.
The name gives you a clue about this rose. Having "looked it up" I find it is a cross between two fragrant varieties Dee-lish and Septre'd Isle both "extremely fragrant varieties". The illustration on the label shows a rose that if it was any other kind of flower you would describe as double. This tight little bud is therefor a surprise, for me at least.
