A day in the life

Confusion

There's no project to prepare just now, so I've started practicing instead, basic skills from all kinds of repertoar, classical, jazz, rock and accompaniment. Fun and necessary.

I had a meeting with my foot specialist in town this afternoon, a couple of times every year she removes a corn from my left foot so that I can walk properly again. It's ok in the summer because I use light shoes, or no shoes, but as soon as I start using the hiking shoes it starts to hurt again. Now I'm good for another six months hopefully.

I've had some little problems connecting my new tv, partly because I've used old equipment that doesn't speak the same language as the new tv. I found a guy at one of the audio markets in town who proved to be very enthusiastic and skillful, teaching me ways to deal with my problems. I filmed while he showed me so I would remember but I still have problems so I'll have to see him again I think.

Interesting though, the first people I asked, in another shop, were very young and since I was the only customer in there, all four of them "helped" me. I immediately felt that I was treated the age they imagined I was, meaning no knowledge at all about modern things and they weren't interested in finding out. It's such a waste of time and I would be glad if they were offered som basic course in how to deal with people in a respectful way. I bet some of you know what I mean.
