Striding arch

Arkle and finn walked with company.

Headed south with pals for a day of hills and sculpture appreciation.

First arch in the byre half outside and half inside through a window. Lovely engravings of the families from the area.

Up track with lorries sharing our route.

Height gained quickly and an arch and trig point at first hill.

Long distance path followed to next hill arch which also had a trig.

Strolling through woodland onto tracks to next hill a turbine covered summit.

Quick descent to road passing brilliant old trees and a cracking laden crab apple.

Walk up road to car.

Stopped on way home to another andy goldsworthy sculpture, millennium cairn.

Dinner and chat with family.

Dog walk awaits.
