Bizarre anti fouling story really.

Whilst up on the hard stand I have been watching these guys spray paint the hulls of the boats around me with anti foul.

I asked one of the guys how much they charge to spray. He said you don't want to know. I keep asking and he finally said $2500. I was blown away. No thanks.

I kept saying hello each day. How's it going Bro etc.

On Friday he says. Tell you what mate I'll mask it up and spray for $500. Too me that was a good deal. Two coats masked and sprayed on a 41 ft launch.

Saturday comes and he tells me that the Orams marine yard will not let him spray my boat as they want a cut. We were both pissed off. So he says bugger them we will do it Sunday when no one is around.

Sunday comes and he never shows up. I can't take the risk of waiting so I end up painting it myself . Saved me $500 I suppose. But job well done.
