Quartermistressing

Mr hazelh and I have always planned our meals at least one week ahead. When we were both working, the usual time period was a fortnight.

Recently I have taken to making a monthly meal plan. I do this in parallel with making a list for a big shopping expedition by car to stock up on store cupboard items for the month ahead. This morning I listed the proposed evening meals for the next four and half weeks on the bottom of our kitchen whiteboard (blipped). Then Mr hazelh and I drove round to the supermarkets for the grocery shopping.

As soon as we had unloaded all the purchases back at the house, we went for a short run.

After lunch I watched another episode of of Game of Thrones with Mr hazelh in the sitting room (while Mummy hazelh had a lie down), then moved into the study to do a little work. Amongst a number of small tasks, I started organising the photos that I took at Girton College on 21st August as the first stage of preparing a blog post about our visit to the college archives.

I spotted on the BBC iPlayer that there is a New Zealand series of The Traitors. Oh yes! Mr hazelh says that I have to watch an episode of Ludwig first tonight though...

Exercise today: 1 hour on the exercise bike; 5k run; walking (12,631 steps including run).
