Early Doors

We were up early this morning so Jacqui could get to Berry Head for 7.15 am for  a birdwatching event, followed by breakfast, part of the Guard House cafe’s seafood feast event.
Breakfast of the day was Scallops Benedict.
We were late because there was a delivery of four new lodges to the holiday park, loaded on to heavy goods vehicles, and they caused a hold up on the narrow lane, and some industrial language not usually on the lips of ornithologists. We  were stuck behind them. I sat on Berry Head for  a while, on my own,  so lovely and peaceful, and then walked down to Brixham. As I passed the Brixham gig headquarters I saw Florence and the rowing machines. Hidden behind the gig were members of the team training. And it was only 8.30 am.  LaterJacqui picked me up from Broadsands.
Today is World Postcard Day , and by request I posted some postcards to a young person in America for a school project. Extra.
Florence and the machines is an extra extra.
It was such a great morning.
