Friends

Another in the Stupid Cat series. This time they are both sitting outside, in the pouring rain, 'sheltering' under the garden table, which is not solid, getting dripped on.

Running, washing (laundry as well as me), bread making, smoke alarm testing (not planned), charity shop to drop off a bag of clothes (including some boots I could have worn tonight), ironing and entertaining a decorator who's giving an estimate to paint the hall (and bedroom). I think he's probably OK, he was recommended to me.  He won't be  as good as the last one I used but that was 10 years ago and he was planning on going back to Poland.

I'm out for a drink tonight with a good friend* (and lapsed Blipper) who's about to move to North London with her B/F.  I shall miss her being around. 

*It was her who recommended the decorator.
