Orange wineries

Our friends took us on a lovely drive through Central West countryside and vineyards. The seasons here are later than in the Hunter Valley. A few of the vines are just starting to show a pale green shoot. The wineries here seem smaller and simple. We enjoyed tasting and a grazing plate at one of them. and bought some very nice wine.
The red topped hedge in the distance is photinia. It’s an introduced species but it tones in very nicely with the Central West landscape.
