Guilt

No. I’m not guilty about having and blipping a tin of beans…..

My Mum was very relaxed about sell by dates. She was a careful shopper and she would always use the “nose test” before getting rid of out of date milk or other items. Yes, she’d lived through the war and  cans are much safer than fresh produce when they’re a bit older.

But I think today’s blip would probably shock her.

Another awful wet day. No guilt about staying at home and catching up with a few things. You know, those things you know you ought to get round to……like clearing out cupboards.

I got out the stepladder and the cleaning stuff and set about it.

Suffice it to say that I struggled to get the seriously heavy bag to the bin (and I’ve been working weights)

Lots of the things were past their sell by date….wasabi paste dated 2020…yellow split peas dated 2021…… all very familiar.

My blip is a serious testimony to my neglect !

03 - 2013…….

Now. What’s for tea ?
