The Hotel Pool

…. which we didn’t use till 5pm, having settled ourselves all day round at the apartment. The hotel pool was by then quite quiet and their bar served a very decent G&T. How come they can do that: just judge how much gin to pour into a glass - and you know there will be no measly measures. Our authorities back home would have canaries. And the population would be drunk to the point of helplessness.
Talking of helplessness, I kept abreast of Hearts latest game. We got a point! Yep an equaliser in the 8th minute of the six minutes added on after the ninety. Holy Moly. Still bottom but that means the new interim manager is unbeaten!
