Snowdrops
Galanthus sp.
Snowdrops are shy about showing their faces so I laid the camera on the ground and shot upwards. That's how I captured spots of blue sky and sunshine.
I love to see the winter flowers coming out. These snowdrops, the japonica and winter aconite (in my one year ago shot), but my little Chionodoxa has not put in an appearance. I put it in the same pot as the snowdrops and it flowered last year. I'd be sad to lose it. They are not something you can simply buy from a garden shop. Like the snowdrops they prefer the conditions of a higher altitude than the city can give them.
