Another afternoon in the big city. Had a nice coffee and brunch with my friend and his daughter. She’s so cute and funny.

After I had some time to myself to just enjoy the surroundings. There a much more tourists now but there are pockets without them yet the hustle and the energy is still high. There are also pockets of peaceful relief. But like something out of a dark sci-fi show these are only apparitions and provide an artificial release from the grind.

Got a copy of the remastered A Clockwork Orange which has been a favourite of mine (and of many others) for a long time. The presentation is it’s best I’ve ever seen and it’s easy to get sucked in by the hypnotic and horrid nature of it.

It was a nice ride back home to relax.
