"Ever Reliable"...

...Is the Geranium - so many colors, so many varieties, and always a picture in a garden, especially in our gardens, wherever we have been..

...I always wondered how I could take a cutting from the beautiful geranium plants, people told me various ways, but I discovered myself - the best way to get a plant going from another one - is to find an unopened flower, and take the stem with unopened flower on it - around 6 or 8 inches long , or more, leaves and all- and plant it directly into the ground..(first removing the very lower leaves)...

...The Geranium has brains it seems - it does everything it can to open the budding flower, and it will - and in the time it is flowering - it has developed some tiny little roots you'll see, and by the time the flower has finished - it's on it's way to becoming another plant..

...This is the same for all types, whether they be climbing, or bush, or prostate, or miniature - they all are the same in getting them to flourish - just take the stem with the unopened bud on it and you'll get it going...
