Climbing a mountain

That's what today has mainly felt like. It started well, local artist Sandra Vick came over first thing with her pots ready for me to make her candles and we had a nice catch up over a cuppa. I then got most of my end of month admin sorted, popped down to the bank and shop and the plan was to have a bit of me-time this afternoon. 

Didn't quite pan out after a critical spanner was thrown in the works for my new sleep spa set - the afternoon was spent with various comms between various parties and trying to think of a viable work around for the time frame left. To be continued tomorrow...

Birkbeck were definitely missing a McMillan this evening - I think moving forwards they have to have someone with that name on the team just for the pure joy of hearing the voice over of a chicken (we're so highbrow! :)
