Surprising Item In The Bagging Area

The plan today was to go out this evening and take photos of an event scheduled to happen on the local stretch of the River Witham. It's rained all day in various quantities so I was neither surprised nor particularly disappointed when Brian messaged me to say it was postponed. 

The message came through when I'd walked almost into town to pick up a few things as I thought we wouldn't be shopping until tomorrow. Never mind. I took a few photos while I was there, but none I was happy with.

On the way home I went to the Co-op for milk and to take advantage of an excellent offer they currently have. It was good to get home and changed out of my clothes that were soaking despite having a brolly and then have some toast and a coffee to warm up.

Minstrel has been very mischievous, wanting to play with my hands like his toys and knocking over some coins I wanted to swap with Brian for a note. He's an idiot! (Minstrel, not Brian!)

I'm on top of house jobs and admin today and I've finished my latest book. It was raining even more by the time we had to go shopping so I had a lift with Brian rather than walking how I usually do. 

In Morrisons I was still looking out for a Blip. Brian reminded me about the creepy doll in the Halloween aisle!

I love Halloween, but this would not go with my Halloween decorations!
