Hill sprints

This is going to be a busy week, running-wise: I am a couple of sessions behind on Runna's training plan and it's two weeks until the marathon. 

And what a start to the week: a one mile run ("easy pace"), the SIXTEEN sixty second hill sprints. (And then run home.) 

It was unarguably a tough session but I stuck with it, and as you can see from my heart rate I put everything I had left into the last sprint (and hit a pace of 5' 57!).

Perhaps the worst thing about it, though, was how great I felt for the rest of the day. I don't want hill sprints to be my gateway to feeling good!
