Zip it
A bad night's sleep so didn't wake early, which seemed to have given JJ the excuse to lie in as well.
I spent the rest of the morning paying bills online and then after lunch had to head into town to visit the optician.
I knew my eyes were deteriorating both distance and close-up, and although I used to wear varifocals, about ten years ago I was told I no longer needed glasses for distance.
My cataracts are getting worse apparently, but not such that I need a hospital referral, so glasses for distance, and definitely driving, are needed. I decided not to have new reading glasses because I'm managing fine at the moment, although one eye is 1.75 and the other 2.00.
It's been pouring down all day and I had intended going down to the embankment to take a picture of the flooding but it was too wet and windy.
Instead you have a picture of my camera bag zip, which makes a sound when it's opened and closed.
