Adventure...

Mike & I want for 2 lovely walks today. The first walk was around a lovely pond & through some forest. The second was to a waterfall (so Mike told me). It was so much more than that. It was like walking into a scene from Tomb Rader or Indiana Jones. We were walking up a gully with trees all about us & vast sandstone rock faces covered in ferns. The light was really difficult to take photos in, not many came out. This shot was the best of the bunch & its 8 shots stitched together. I need to take my tripod next time & my smaller lens to try & capture some of the beauty we saw. The only down side was I got eaten alive by Clegs, monstrous, horrible bug that they are, I even have a bit on my finger, ouch.

Boiler man did come today, but could not fix it as he did not have the replacement circuit board with him. No hot water till Monday. So it was filling the bath with kettles & pots of hot water again tonight & tomorrow to. I will be glad to have a hot shower again come Monday.
