Swim to start

Up early to head out for a lake swim up at Lee Valley. It was so needed. A bit chilly. Met EmCoops up there and swam for an hour at a leisurely on & off chatty pace.

Home to do a bit of prep cooking for tomorrow. I just wanted to get the vegetarian meal sorted today so that tomorrow I could focus on the chicken.

Mid afternoon, I headed to DougsJB and PuddleDucks flat to do some cleaning as they hope to exchange next week and complete soon after. I’ve done so little to help them that it was really nice to do a little today.

Back home to be rushed out to meet up with Ali, our Turkish friend, to have a quick supper with him. His working hours are legendary.

I’m so grateful for the swim at the beginning of the day. It sets up what follows wonderfully.
