A battle

I want to start by saying thank you for all your stars, hearts and good wishes for my rainbow 2500th blip.  It felt so good to have you all cheering me on.  I love being part of this community.

Twinsday today and it was a small one, as Sarah, Nick and Levi are in Florida this week (not affected by the hurricane) and neither Diane nor Josh were able to come.  The boys engaged in a lot of play fighting with the Halloween toys they had brought with them.  I'm sure at some point I'll get used to how little boys play, but now I find myself wanting to tell them to stop being naughty (of course I don't.).  I was raised with girls and helped Lex raise her girls, so watching boys grow up is a completely new experience.

Manda and Andrew had bought a couple of blow-up dinosaur costumes for Halloween.  Sam tried one that was just too big and unwieldy for him .  Max had more success with this T-rex costume, despite the long tail and very large head.  Here you see the T-rex chasing Sam around the garden.  I don't think that costume would work for trick-or-treating - it just takes up so much space.

The cleaners are coming tomorrow and I need to go to Safeway to spend my September Fresh Bucks before they expire.
