Words

Wrote for a few hours, enjoying feeling cosy inside and not needing to be anywhere. Had a lovely FaceTime with Evolybab, cut a little short with the arrival of daughter J for a late breakfast!

The last day of the Jersey Festival of Words, so this afternoon H and I enjoyed seeing two authors whose books are set in the Channel Islands. The talk was interesting and I bought both books!

Then we had coffee and cake before walking home in a very strong wind. There was sand in the air at one point, stinging our faces, and we had to take a back route away from the seafront.

It is howling out there now and I’m grateful to be here at home with no pending travel plans!
