Kilcreggan Pier
Back home tonight after our 3 days away with the camper van. We had a wonderful time over Stirling area, first at Flanders Moss , then in Stirling itself. Some beautiful old buildings and wonderful scenery, well worth a visit.

WE decided to follow the Clyde Sea Lochs trail and camped overnight at Ardmore Point just outside Helensburg las tnight. beautiful views and lots of blips.
A short visit to Helensburgh with the obligatory ice cream, delicious! Then it was off to Rhu , Clynder , Rosneath wit a stop off at Kilcreggan where he enjoyed a wander along the forest track and the shore.
The ferry came and went from greenock across the Clyde , twice while we were there. A tiny ferry which nly takes foot passengers, just as well because the pier would not have supported any vehicles. We did wander along the watch the ferry arrive and see the 5 passengers get off.
Off course the beauty of the camper van is that we could have lunch in the well set out picnic area at the car patk overlooking the pier with wonderful views across the Clyde. So tonight's blip is a view taken while we relaxed with our coffee.
