Calke Abbey

Many thanks for the response to yesterdays photo. I will hopefully respond personally tomorrow. 

This post box topper caught my eye in Ticknall as we left our accommodation. Definitely a feel of the changing seasons in the air.

Called in to compete at a DVO orienteering event at Calke Abbey. Another step in the right direction for the knee. It’s the first time for years that I have run without pain. As a consequence I really enjoyed the run through the woods and parkland of Calke Abbey. 

A longer than normal drive home avoiding the delays on the M1 and A1. Good to get back on familiar roads.
