Food!

Don't look too closely at this image, it is a collection of terrible photos! It has been a very busy day and I had no time for photos. As soon as I was up, showered and breakfasted I started preparing the food for our lunch today with our friends. Gavin walked Xena while I was busy in the kitchen, but then had to dash off to the supermarket for me as I had forgotten to buy mozzarella cheese! I roasted a side of salmon with a harissa/honey dressing and then made various salads to accompany it - tomato and mozzarella salad, quinoa salad, roasted baby potatoes, spinach, beetroot asparagus and walnut salad and then a green bean, toasted almond and feta salad.

It was lovely to see our friends again and we had a leisurely lunch, which was then followed by chocolate torte for pudding and then coffees. A most enjoyable day where we chatted about everything!

Xena was very good as she only had another walk after our friends left at about 6pm.
